I am a trained and skilled Mental Health and Grief and Bereavement Counselor and Aging Activist. I have a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling, a post graduate certificate in Thanatology (Grief and Bereavement) and a Bachelor in Psychology/Mental Health. I can be contacted for speaking engagements, teaching opportunities and workshops.

I have passions for encouraging writers at all levels and others to take those critical steps in realizing their writing and life goals.


I am a poet, writer, Pearls of Wisdom Storyteller and multi-disciplinary artist. I am widely anthologized and facilitate poetry, creative writing workshops, panels, seminars etc. and the executive director for the Bronx Book Fair. I have been recognized by arts  both civic and literary organizations for my work and commitment to serving the literary community, via my organization Poets Network & Exchange, Inc. as well as community activism.
